Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Travel Desk Executive located in Ahmedabad. The Travel Desk Executive will be at the forefront of our Travel Agency Department and responsible for handling day-to-day travel arrangements, consulting with clients on travel plans/needs, ensuring excellent communication, providing top-notch customer service, and managing overall travel operations. The Travel Desk Executive will leverage his/her knowledge and skills to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to our mission of delivering seamless travel experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify the customer's needs
  • Travel Itinerary/Trip and Tour Packages Planning
  • Visa Applicability Process Co-ordination
  • Air-ticket issuance, modifications, and cancellations
  • Railway and Busissuance, modifications, and cancellations
  • Hotel and Cab/Car Booking
  • Coordinating with Airlines, Hotels and other vendors
  • Export-Import Services Co-ordination
  • Negotiate, Quotation, Contract and Sale
  • Ensure Compliance with Company Policies and Travel Regulations
  • Stay Updated on industry trends, airline policies, and travel advisories to provide accurate information to clients
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain strong relationships with travel partners and vendors to negotiate the best deals for customers
  • Follow the entire sales cycle
  • Achieve sales objectives

Must Be/Have

  • 18 Years Old or above
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, etc.
  • Passion for Hospitality, Travel and Transportation Industry
  • Perfect written and oral command in English and Hindi Languages
  • Willing to explore new avenues within the Travel Agency Business
  • learner, ready to train and implement new technological advancements
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience in Travelport Galileo GDS software is a plus
  • IATA Certification
  • Bachelor Degree in the Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in travel agency or corporate travel management
  • Knowledge of Additional languages
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and handle last-minute changes
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making (analyticalskills
  • Highly creative and autonomous
  • Sound knowledge of using Social Media Platform such as Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, etc. 
  • Travel Arrangements and Travel Management skills
